Lord that I might kiss thy face,
Kiss thy face as one who loves thee,
No longer as thy Judas,
But new, again, as thy friend and lover.

Lord that I might engage you with all that I might,
Knowing it is not within my power,
Knowing that it cannot end with me.

Lord I ask for thy Holy Embrace.
